Application for Membership

Dear Applicant,

        Please Review the following information carefully.

        Search and rescue is very physically and mentally demanding.  Please determine if you possess the necessary qualities when choosing your desired position within the organization.  Each member is responsible for their own field gear and supplies.

        Membership to C.A.E.S.A.R. is very time consuming.  Each organizational member must complete a monthly training/time requirement to remain on active status.  This does not include the time associated with obtaining the certifications required for active membership, as well as training a canine partner (if this is the position desired).  Please make certain that you are willing to put forth the required time.

        Please complete the following pages on the internet.  Upon receipt of your application, it will be examined for completeness.  The completed application will then be processed, and reviewed, by the organizations membership committee.  You will be contacted, by phone, if you have been selected for a personal interview.

        Each applicant, upon acceptance to the organization, must present documentation which shows that a physical examination has been performed within the past one year.  This documentation must be presented within the first three weeks after receiving the acceptance letter.

        Each new member, must also permit the organization to perform a thorough background exam during their six month probationary period.  A driving record, criminal record, a child abuse history must be completed at the members expense.
