Callout Procedures

Notification:

A requesting agency can contact C.A.E.S.A.R. by calling

Stat MedEvac at (800) 633-7828.

Requesting official:

Any official of an agency that is in charge at the scene of a search emergency may request C.A.E.S.A.R. to respond. It is the responsibility of the requesting agency to set guidelines for when and who is to notify C.A.E.S.A.R. for the organization's services. Examples of officials that may request C.A.E.S.A.R. are as follows:

Emergency Management Coordinator
Police Officer (O.I.C.)
Police Chief
Paramedic (O.I.C.)
Ambulance Service Director
Fire Fighter (O.I.C.)
Fire Chief
Search Agency (O.I.C.)

C.A.E.S.A.R. may not be called upon to respond to an incident by any family member, or a non-designated official (bystander). Only an agency may request C.A.E.S.A.R. to respond, and an official of that agency must be the requester.

Primary Response Area

C.A.E.S.A.R.'s primary response area is depicted in the highlighted counties of the following map. C.A.E.S.A.R. will make every effort to respond to calls for support from agencies and SAR Teams outside of our primary areas.
