Parents:

If the unfortunate event occurs and your child becomes lost or is discovered missing, do you know what to do? Do you know whom to call? Have you suddenly become a bad parent? Download our "Lost Child Preparedness" booklet  to help you find the answers to these questions and more!  It has been designed to provide recommended "tips" that should be used to educate children before the problem has a chance to occur.  The Lost Child Preparedness booklet is provided in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format file version 4.0.   The Acrobat Reader needed to view the files can be downloaded FREE.

On-Line Map & Compass Course:

Princeton University hosts the Outdoor Action Web Site which includes the "OA Guide to Map & Compass".  This is not a substitute for a hands-on clinic, but will serve to provide some basic skills and understanding of using a map and compass. We invite you to use the link above to get a first introduction to map and compass, or, for your use as a quick refresher.
